Cookie Policy
Which cookies Salo Pass uses and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember information about your session, for example that you are signed in or which language you prefer.
2. Which cookies we use
Salo Pass uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function:
- Authentication cookies (prefixed “sb-”) — maintain the Supabase sign-in session for staff and member accounts; without them, signing in does not work.
- NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the chosen language (Romanian or English).
- The theme preference (light/dark) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not through a cookie.
3. Analytics or advertising cookies
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track visitors across websites. Traffic statistics are collected in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
4. Consent
Under Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and Romanian Law 506/2004, cookies strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user do not require prior consent — which is why the platform does not show a cookie banner. Should we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for consent beforehand and update this policy.
5. How to control them
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent signing in to the platform. For questions, use the e-mail address in the operator identification box.
